Weaste's St Lukes CofE Church, famed for being wedding venue of suffragette Emeline Pankhurst, is set to celebrate the harvest festival on Sunday 15th October at 10am and are asking everyone to come & celebrate their harvest festival with them. Harvest is a time the church traditionally says a big thank you! It's a time of year when for years people who relied on farming gave thanks for the food the earth provided. They are collecting tins & toiletries for the local community & would really appreciate if you could drop off items on Wednesday 10:30-12pm or Sunday 11-12pm to give generously. Location: Derby Road, Weaste, Salford M5 5YD.
