The fun starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm.

Suitable for younger children.

No Boo'king required, just turn up, follow the trail and have fun.

Weaste's St Lukes CofE Church, famed for being wedding venue of suffragette Emeline Pankhurst, is set to celebrate the harvest festival on Sunday 15th October at 10am and are asking everyone to come & celebrate their harvest festival with them.

Harvest is a time the church traditionally says a big thank you!

It's a time of year when for years people who relied on farming gave thanks for the food the earth provided.

They are collecting tins & toiletries for the local community & would really appreciate if you could drop off items on Wednesday 10:30-12pm or Sunday 11-12pm to give generously.

Salford's much loved Fireworks Weekend is back with a bang this year at two Salford Parks.

Buile Hill Park on Saturday 4 November & Princes Park Irlam on Sunday 5 November.

As is the case with last years events, there will be no bonfire at Buile Hill Park due to safety concerns, although there will be a fire at Irlam's Princes Park.

These are both FREE events and as you can imagine they are very well attended, as such parking can be difficult so it is advisable to use public transport where and when possible. Please avoid blocking access for local residents.

As usual, there will be funfairs at both events as well as food trucks etc...
