On Monday 20 November 2023 the culmination of years of work by both Salford City Council and the Buile Hill Mansion Association will commence as exciting renovations start at Salford's historic Grade 2 listed Buile Hill Mansion. The mansion is to become the new home to both registry services and THE premier wedding venue in Salford, as well as additionally housing a café within the park and room for community use. Buile Hill Park itself is to remain open as usual and accessible by foot from all entrance points. Limited visitor parking is available in the car park close to the entrance from Eccles Old Road. We are told that access to the ramped car pack will still remain accessible from Eccles Old Road. Two blue badge parking bays will be available outside Buile Hill Park Hall for guests of the hall and two additional blue badge parking bays will be available next to the tennis courts, they can all be accessed via the Weaste Lane entrance adjacent to St Lukes CofE School and Edward Avenue. Vehicle access for Buile Hill Park Hall from Eccles Old Road will be closed to the public with only Delivery vehicles and construction traffic supported to enter via that entrance.
