Specially trained police officers have been deployed to Northumberland Street in Salford over the past week with several arrests made, as part of Project Servator linking in with the community and providing reassurance. So far this morning officers have arrested a motorist for drug offences and seized the uninsured vehicle that they were driving. The team has been active across Salford, Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall during the past week or so. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F84FxpmXcAAA8Ab?format=jpg&name=small The team asks for members of the public to come forward with any information they may have on suspicious activity within the area. A mixture of plain clothes and uniformed officers were deployed. The deployments are unpredictable and are aimed to disrupt a range of criminality.
