A man is fighting for life this morning following an accident yesterday on a Tesco car park adjacent to Salford Shopping Precinct. At around 2.30pm on Tuesday 14 November 2023, emergency services were called to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on the car park of Tesco Extra, Pendleton. The pedestrian, an 81-year-old man, is said to have been treated at the scene before being transported to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Police say that there have been no arrests made and the driver of the vehicle is assisting the police with their enquiries.
