A man has been arrested and charged following the theft of a wallet from a person.
Yesterday (30/1/24), James Doherty (DOB: 26/2/1978) from the Duchy area of Salford was charged with theft from person.
Police say that the charge relates to an incident where a man in his 80s had his wallet stolen.
He is due to appear at Salford & Manchester Magistrates today (31st Jan)
